On the morning of 30th December, 2016, Anqing Foreign Language School carried out the New Year’s Cross-School Long-Distance Running Race, the route of which was from the gate of Anqing Foreign Language School, all the way to Zhen Feng Road, Qian Jiang Road, Yuan Shan Road, Hui Huang Road, Zhen Feng Road and back to the gate of Anqing Foreign Language School. Evidently, the whole race was a lap clockwise encircling Anqing Foreign Language School, around 2,500 meters long.
By means of this cross-school long-distance running in winter, we enhanced students’ physical fitness and cultivated their indomitable willpower, which set off a new upsurge of sunshine sports program in Anqing Foreign Language School.
Overall, Anqing Foreign Language School paid high attention to students’ sunshine sports movement for a long time. To be specific, based on the recess physical exercises, Anqing Foreign Language School implemented sports activities which were well received by students. What’s more, all teachers and students not only appreciated the charm of sports, experienced the passion in sports, but also built fitness and tempered their willpower, which won support among everyone with the concept of ‘I Am Athletic, Healthy and Joyous’.
